Keeping Supple in Later Life, and Nutrition for the Older Person

 

An enjoyable and adaptable session combining Fitness Pilates moves and stretches, together with dietary advice for maximising energy levels; learning which foods will help keep your joints mobile and encourage bone strength so that you can get the best out of your later years by eating healthily, together with exercising and relaxation. A particular focus is on doing balance challenges to retrain your muscles to keep you steady and prevent falls. All exercises can be modified so that they can be done either holding on to the back of a chair, or seated in it.
