Welcome to Lucy Pollard Pilates - thank you for visiting my website!
 
Pilates was such a find for me 19 years ago, both professionally, and as a way of managing my own damaged lower back. My advanced Pilates training has been augmented by courses in biomechanics, mindfulness, gut nutrition, and in lower back care and osteopathic conditions, and I love teaching it at all levels. My listed classes however are directed at a fitter person which is reflected in the challenges I throw out to my class members each week. For those who are looking at starting Pilates to help mend a bad back or any number of remedial reasons, I prefer to work with you initially on a one to one basis in order to teach you how best to look after yourself and learn how to 'listen' to your body.

I can help you get back to health too after structural surgery; knee or hip replacement, spinal surgery, pelvic floor repair, particularly in those sensitive 6-weeks after your operation.
